Tracks your sleep
every night

duration, efficiency, stages and timing

A bad night is the most common thing people say before a migraine and the least common thing they write down. MigraineMe records the night for you, from the phone alone if that is all you have, and tells you which part of it actually matters.

What it recordsDuration, sleep score, efficiency, disturbances, deep, REM and light sleep, bedtime and wake time.
Where it comes fromYour phone can do it on its own: with usage access it reads the longest screen-off gap of the night as your sleep. A wearable or Health Connect adds the stages and the score. Or enter it yourself, or mention it in the evening check-in.
Sleep triggers, automaticBedtime late, wake time early or late, sleep duration high, deep, REM or light sleep high or low, disturbances, jet lag. Each fires as a trigger when your night crosses its line.
In your risk scoreA bad night raises today's number, and the effect fades over the days after, the same as any other trigger.
In your patternsWhat happened ranks sleep against your attacks. Poor sleep ×4.6 · 21% of attacks is the kind of line you get once the data is there.
What strengthens youConsistent sleep is one of the habits the app looks for on your migraine-free days, measured against your own normal.

What it records, and where it comes from

Duration, sleep score, efficiency, disturbances, deep, REM and light sleep, bedtime and wake time. Your phone can do the basics on its own: with usage access it reads the longest screen-off gap of the night as your sleep. A wearable or Health Connect adds the stages and the score. You can also enter it yourself or mention it in the evening check-in.

Sleep triggers that fire on their own

Bedtime late, wake time early or late, sleep duration high, deep, REM or light sleep high or low, sleep disturbances high or low, and jet lag are all automatic triggers. Each fires when your night crosses its line, and each has a severity you control.

Sleep in your patterns

What happened ranks sleep against your attacks with the same statistics as every other trigger, so you see a line like poor sleep, 4.6 times more likely, in 21% of attacks. Consistent sleep is also one of the habits the app looks for on your migraine-free days.

Questions

Can the phone track sleep without a watch?

Yes. With usage access the app reads the longest screen-off gap between the evening and noon as your sleep. Stages and score need a wearable or Health Connect.

Which sleep sources are supported?

Phone, Garmin, Apple Watch, Polar, Oura, WHOOP, Health Connect on Android and Apple Health on iOS, plus manual entry.

Is sleep a trigger or a measurement?

Both. The night is recorded as data, and the sleep triggers fire from it when a value crosses your line, so you can weight sleep like any other trigger.
