How do you manage a migraine when you're the only adult home with the kids?

genuine question because i can't tell anymore if i'm doing this right or just surviving. two kids, chronic, and about half my attack days land on ones where it's just me at home with them for hours. i've tried the "tell them mummy's poorly and needs quiet" script and it holds for about eleven minutes. the things i've landed on: pre-made freezer dinners for red-gauge days, one designated quiet activity per kid, and a shameful amount of tablet time. i still feel like i'm bracing through every one of these rather than actually managing it. what does your version look like when there's no backup coming?
